Milan is the second largest city in Italy with one and a half million people. Once the capital of Italian heavy industry, Milan has now a much diversified economy based on high-tech industry, informatics, biosciences, fashion, high education and logistics. Milan is also the most important Italian financial center.

Milan is a place where you have residents coming from all the corners of Europe and visitors from every continent, for business, culture and trade (the new Milan Trade Center is among the largest in Europe, and the Museo di Brera with its collections of paintings is one of the most visited in Italy).

Milan skyline has evolved tremendously in the last twenty years, with the construction of two architecturally outstanding districts (City Life and Porta Nuova) full of tall buildings, theaters, exclusive shops and space to walk and relax. These novelties integrate very well with such renowned places as the gothic cathedral (Duomo), the Teatro alla Scala and the Galleria, the first covered mall in the world built at the end of the 19th century!

In addition, Milan is a walkable city, where four subway lines and an underground regional railway allow people to reach any relevant place, easily and comfortably.
