Gabriele Balconi serves as Technical and R&D Manager for Sireg Geotech, where he leads the innovation for next-generation Concrete Reinforcement (Glasspree® Rebar product line). He holds a Master of Science degree in Architecture and Building Engineering from the Politecnico di Milano (Italy).

With over 15 years of experience, Gabriele has a strong focus on innovation. He has spearheaded the development of several patented products and cutting-edge technologies specifically for the composites industry applied to civil engineering. An expert in the use of advanced materials, he is currently dedicated to the design and application of more durable and sustainable reinforced concrete solutions.

He is an active member of the International Federation for Structural Concrete (FIB) and contributes to various European and global associations and technical committees.
